Systematic review and meta-analysis of 108 RCTs examining hamstring injury prevention and risk-factor management. Eccentric training reduced hamstring injury incidence by 56.8–70.0% and also improved strength, muscle fascicle length, hamstring-to-quadriceps ratios and limb symmetry; stretching interventions showed smaller, less consistent effects. Moderate evidence.
