Validation of the Stryd foot-pod at submaximal running speeds. Its output tracked running intensity well, with strong relationships to oxygen uptake (R²=0.82) and to external mechanical power (R²=0.88), but it underestimated absolute mechanical power. Best read as a repeatable, device-specific intensity proxy rather than a true measure of watts. Moderate.
