Treadmill study (n=15) comparing high- and low-support sports bras. Greater breast support was associated with roughly 7% lower oxygen consumption and better running economy, with the effect strongly correlated to breast size. A single small treadmill study of young recreational runners, not replicated, so the striking economy figure should be read as a promising single finding. Limited.
