Lower-limb intermittent pneumatic compression and recovery (meta-analysis)
Systematic review and meta-analysis of pneumatic compression boots: trivial-to-moderate reduction in perceived muscle soreness (around 13 to 20% versus passive rest, largest near 48 hours) and some restoration of perceived function, but not clearly superior to a well-fitted static compression garment, and benefits to objective performance recovery are small. Moderate, mostly perceptual.
